8.2 Certification GmbH is a certified company that specializes in verifying and certifying power generation plants and their grid connections. As a DAkkS-accredited certification body in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065:2013, we offer certification of the electrical properties of power generation plants, including wind, photovoltaic, and biogas plants, as well as hydropower and storage facilities, with regard to grid integration. These properties are evaluated according to the VDE application guidelines VDE 4110 and VDE 4120. We are flexibly accredited for revision statuses for these guidelines.
Our services facilitate the seamless integration of renewable energy sources into the power grid, thereby contributing significantly to the energy transition.
Our goal is to design the certification process so that our customers and we can enjoy the newly connected plants every day.
The foundation
Founded in 2019 under the leadership of Volodymyr Lysak, an experienced energy technology expert, 8.2 Certification GmbH was established. Lysak's vision was to further strengthen the high standards and expertise of the 8.2 Group by establishing an independent certification unit. This laid the foundation for a company that prioritizes quality, efficiency, and customer focus. Lysak's extensive industry experience and understanding of the requirements for technical systems in the energy sector shape the values and working methods of 8.2 Certification GmbH.

What we offer
We offer comprehensive plant certification services, including preparing declarations of conformity and plant certificates. We ensure that all legal requirements and standards are met. We do not discriminate based on the size or origin of customers, membership in associations or groups, or certifications already granted. The certification body is financed exclusively through client fees for processing certification services. There are no contributions from third parties.
