Our new certification portal, AZ-SelfDrive-Level1, for autonomous plant certification is now online!

With this new portal, 8.2 Certification GmbH is ushering in a new era of digital plant certification in the renewable energy sector. The portal was developed to significantly simplify the certification process for plant operators and project managers in a structured, transparent, and reliable manner.

It provides a smooth path to certification.

The new system will guide you step by step through the entire certification process and help you securely transmit your project data and documents. A clearly structured user interface and intelligent assistance functions facilitate communication with our team, making it easier and more transparent. This saves you valuable time, allowing you to focus on what matters most: successfully operating your plants.

This is the beginning of intelligent certification.

With AZ-SelfDrive Level 1, we are laying the groundwork for the progressive automation of plant certification. Based on the five levels of autonomous driving (according to SAE J3016), this portal is the first stage of development: "Assisted Certification." This means that the certification process is simplified with digital support, without compromising technical depth or diligence.

For new and existing customers

Since November 11, 2024, new projects have been handled exclusively via the new portal. As this is a completely newly developed platform, one-time re-registration is required—even for existing customers. Registration takes just a few steps and gives you access to our customer portal. You can find instructions for registration at the following link.

Projects requested before November 11, 2024 can be found in the old certification portal. Please use your existing login details. Note that the login details for the old and new portals are different. We will notify you if we migrate your project to the new portal.
